this is a story about a machine, and a story about you. which machine? which you? i leave that up to you. the only constant is that when you put a liquid inside the machine's mouth, it will sometimes reward you with a kiss. perhaps you already have a machine like this. maybe an algorithm, or a person, or a quirk of your own mind. whatever it is, you are hopelessly attached to it. this is about that attachment.

Good piece, Fal'Cie.

In my reading, the machine is the set of procrastination habits that can wring the happiness of out of me until I am empty of happy.

That did not fit as well with the final bit though, which was actually hopeful to me.
