Nov. 9 2021 The Girlfriend Update

Hey y'all, new writer here, my name's Morgyn, and I'm gonna be writing devlogs from now on because me and Angie moved in together! Angie hasn't worked on the game for a bit because we were getting prepared to move (and also cuddling with me, but you know.)

So major updates since the last devlog include the introduction of the new character to recruit, and also you get to pet a bunny. Other things include the introduction of a new character, who you'll meet at the start of the chapter, and you can recruit them to your side. Or not. You're in control of your destiny, make your own goddamn choices.  Angie has been worried that her game is being made for cis people, which I personally don't understand, but I know she's just generally a super anxious person. Other updates in the game development include a little story I wrote as an introduction to the character I designed, who's showing up in the next update. Maybe. Hopefully. We still haven't decided on when she's getting introduced, but it will be soon.

Angie's a good gamedev, and a better girlfriend, and even with my very limited knowledge as to what she's doing, I know her strategy game knowledge is gonna be super helpful with developing this strategy game, and she's doing a good job so far with the Ranger skill that the main character has, and Angie's development of this SRPG is gonna be amazing. Anyways, let's talk about that character I made. Her name is Velma of Shishaldi, and she's gonna be a cavalry unit focused on being a physical wall for Damon to hide behind. I have a little story written, set to come out a week or so before the next chapter comes out, if you want to see it, I'll link it in the week's devlog when it comes out.
