It was fun to play this again. It's been a minute since the original. It's a tad sad to see some of the characters since they're a bit disconnected these days, but still, fun to see some of them again too. I'd comment on the differences between the original and this, but I can't, since it's been an age and I don't really remember the original that well. Still, it was good playing it again (and the ending was fun).
Yeah, I'm not part of FallingStar anymore so it felt Strange doing this. Most of the differences are balance changes, rejiggering stats and moves and the like, but I also changed the order of enemies, made specific save points rather than saving whenever you like, and changed a lot of dialogue to strike a balance between information and character. I did this whole thing in a night because I felt like it, and I'm glad someone checked it out. (By the way, did you meet the secret character?)
If the secret character appears as a cat, then yes, I did meet the secret character (I assume there isn't another one, but Who Knows). Said character's dialogue is an appreciable reflection both on the game and more generally, especially given how you made this version (and the secondary dialogue for talking to that character again is also funny).
